Throttle MX was opened in 2011 by former AMA pro rider Jake Marquez and his brother Diego on 200 acres of family farmland. Fourteen years later, the brothers still run the gate, build the tracks, and ride every day before opening.

Jake and Diego open Throttle MX with one track and a borrowed bulldozer. First year: 1,800 riders.
Built the supercross-style track with AMA design team. Hosted our first amateur race series.
Opened the beginner loop and expanded coaching programs. Crossed 8,000 annual riders.
Three tracks, 12k+ annual riders, six full-time staff, and a coaching program with three current pro riders.
